The First House!!

Do you see what happens to a man who spends too much of his time on the land? They go crazy!

Shed during a hot summer day in July.

Ashlee's garden

Ashlee's garden

Here is another view of the vineyard. This is looking almost East. There will be a couple more rows down hill later.

This is a good view of the garder looking up hill.

The beginnings of an orchard

The beginnings of a vineyard. Grass will be planted between the rows this fall.

The garden road is starting to sprout some love grass. This is going to help with the stability of the road this winter. You can see how green everything is.

This is one of the remnants of the "BIG STORM OF 2011!"

This is Ashlee looking into the basement of the house wondering how she got herself into this.

A view looking in at the footings being dug. The ran into some rock in the north east corner , but shouldn't be a problem.

Here is Ella getting used to her new living quarter the basement

Another view of the footings, this view is looking roughly west.

Just wanted to get a side shot of Ashlee's belly.

This is looking NE, this is the road dug in for the trucks to come in with their loads.

How convenient?

The driveway had a face lift. Lots of trees were taken down for the power lines. They are expecting us to pick them up.

A view of the fallen trees in the beginning of the driveway

This sign means they must have officially started building.

The kids CHIP in to move mulch pile

The old man on the tractor.  Matt standing by the Kubota awaiting a load of mulch to drive to the top

The new house will go here.  This is the view

another view of the view.  I think that snaggly tree will go.  As will the trash on the ground.

We are putting the house on this logging road.
